Undergraduate University Study Programme.

Conducting of the Study Programme:
Undergraduate University Study of Church Music is conducted at the Institute for Church Music „Albe Vidaković“ as a regular study programme.

Duration of the Study Programme:
Four years, eight semesters (4+1 years model).

ECTS Credits:
Study Programme has a workload of 240 ECTS Credits.

Academical title obtained upon the completion of the Study Programme:
University Bachelor (Baccalaureus/Baccalaurea) of Music (univ. bacc. mus.).
Competences gained upon the completion of the Study Programme:
Study Programme covers the synthesis of the musical, musical-theoretical, church-musical, musicological, pedagogical and other courses which are suited to the profile of a Church musician.
By completing this Study Programme, student is skilled for activity in all segments of the sacral musical life, which includes holding offices of the Church organist and choir conductor, as well as moderator and coordinator of the liturgical celebrations and concerts in the sacral places.
Possibilities of further study:
By completing the Undergraduate University Study of Church Music in duration of 8 semesters, a student has open access to enrollment to the Graduate University Study in the Republic of Croatia and abroad which issues the degree Master of Music Pedagogy, Master of Organs, Master of (Church) Music.
In cooperation with the Zagreb Academy of Music of the University of Zagreb, Graduate University Study Programme of Music in study directions Organs or Music Pedagogy is conducted in duration of 1 year, i.e. 2 semesters (4+1 model). Each semester has a workload of 30 ECTS Credits. Upon the completion of the Study, the degree of Master of Music and Master of Music Pedagogy (mag. mus.) is obtained respectively.
